2014 Mantra Late Harvest Zinfandel

Zinfandel field blend with approximately 6% Petite Syrah in the single vineyard, 100% Estate, planted sometime, between the late 1930’s and very early 1940’s. The fruit for this wine was left on the vine an additional 2 months which increased flavor intensity, density, and sugar content that results in higher alcohol content and residual sugar. Alexander Valley, Cloverdale, 1,100 foot elevation, on a ridge of the Mayacamas Mountain range.
