Big Baby was “born” in Novato, California in early 2023 and has a following that is growing fast. Though they’re all fathers, this is not your typical dad band. These four pros play clever original rock and funk with tight arrangements, three-part harmonies and solid grooves. In addition to their own material, the band plays a few choice covers to add some familiar ingredients to the Big Baby formula. Whatever the crib or cradle, Big Baby’s gonna make it rock.

Essence has released six albums of her original music on both indie and major labels and had numerous film and television placements. Her latest album “Father’s Daughter” is an honest and at times humorous account of her losses and wins; to the bone and from the heart. The album is fully steeped in the rich traditions of Appalachian, Americana and Country music that Essence grew up on, with a nod to the spirit and sound of songwriting legends like John Prine, and Lucinda Williams, Dolly Parton and Gillian Welch. Join Essence and Gold Country for a night of great original music.

Solid Gold Stranger is a string band from Marin County, California. Formed in 2019, the group plays a unique blend of bluegrass, old time, and original progressive acoustic music. Singer-guitarist and songwriter, Mike Z formed "Zbenders," calling on a talented collection of San Francisco's and the North Bay's finest musicians to perform original tunes, along with covers to which The Benders apply their own special twist (or bend?). Zbenders is a group that plays jazzy dance music for hip occasions... a blend of jazz, funk, and R&B, with a bluesy twist. Dancing, toe-tapping, and chair wiggling cannot be avoided...

"Zbenders” music is what you get when you put rockin’ rhythm ‘n blues and jazz together, mixing their own versions of cover tunes with originals that make you want to say, “Hey, not bad.” This easy blend of cool music goes well with conversation, cocktails, any kind of beer, Northern California wine, a damn good cup of coffee, a spot of tea, a good woman, a bad man or just sitting back and letting circumstances unfold.

The Evening Hawks are an acoustic blend of Alabama grit and California cools resonance into their songs, crafting a unique Americana sound. Their repertoire spans a wide range of genres, both those traditionally played in an American folk style and those that have not -- until now.

Lauren Ashley is singer/songwriter from Texas who now makes Marin her home. Lauren plays country, rock and alternative music in a style all her own, a mix between Dolly Parton and Bonnie Raitt. The Beatles to Bluegrass. This Sonoma County Trio will make you feel right at home…. Their terrific cover tunes and well crafted originals will have you singing along in no time. “Midday in Novato” is my favorite.

The Jai Josefs Quartet is a Marin based band that plays "Jazzy Rock and Rockin' Jazz." Its members have over a hundred years of pro experience between them including work with such luminaries as Chris Isaak and Jose Feliciano. We do unique arrangements of songs by artists from Sting, Steely Dan, and Stevie Wonder to Miles Davis, George Benson, and Santana, as well as some very cool originals.
